A bug occurs during Pokémon evolution where the "self-value" (stat value) decreases(%)

When a Pokémon evolves, its “self-value” stat does not increase proportionally (by percentage); instead, its absolute numerical value remains unchanged, which causes the percentage figure to decrease

Hi! Thanks for the detailed report. This is how evolution works: the Pokémon keeps the IV points it already has and the new species gets a higher limit, so the percentage goes down but nothing is lost. The extra room can be filled with Refine Stones as usual (and the bigger limit is what makes the evolved form stronger in the end).

It’s a real shame, but this feature is quite poor compared to other versions. In those versions, when a Pokémon evolves, its IVs are retained proportionally, and it’s guaranteed that the stats will increase in a balanced way. This saves players from having to spend extra resources on refine stats after evolution—which is already an incredibly difficult and resource-intensive process when trying to reach the maximum possible values. Now, players are forced to spend even more resources to reroll them all over again.

Thanks for the detailed feedback! The evolution stat rule follows the original game for now, but we’ve passed your suggestion (keeping stats proportionally on evolution) to the team to evaluate.
